Agile Development Methodology Introduction
One of the biggest changes in the development of software-intensive systems over the last ten years has been the adoption of Agile development principles and techniques. As a certified Agile-Scrum Master, I am particularly interested in this phenomenon. This blog includes a number of pages dedicated to explaining Agile development from the standpoint of what Agile means to the management of IT enterprises. Much has been written about the mechanics of Agile. More education is needed on the principles behind the mechanics and the changes Agile requires in the management of software systems development. Since my experience has been with the Agile-Scrum flavor of Agile, most of my entries come from that perspective. I intend to branch out into other Agile disciplines and document what I learn in this blog as well.
